If you want to see the latest news from all over the world or you don’t want to miss your favourite TV show even when travelling in far away regions, you’ll need a flexible antenna harmonized to your personal demands. The 65 cm antenna dish of the Oyster® system provides TV and radio programmes throughout Europe, in Northern Africa and the Middle East.

This model is independent of receivers. This means you can plug in a receiver of your choice, whether it is a Freeview, Freesat Sky or Virgin box. However this means that some channels will require you to change the satellite you are viewing from manually using the provided control panel. (Oyster Digital systems allow you to control the satellite automatically via your remote control - you are unable to upgrade to Oyster Digital after purchasing an Oyster Vision system.)

The system is also very tolerant against adverse reception conditions in poor weather. This is due to the large size of the antenna dishes, which significantly influences number and reception quality of programmes. The satellite dish is made from stainless steel, aviation grade aluminium and modern UV and weather resistant plastics specifically designed for exterior use.

When it is turned off or when the vehical starts the satellite dish will automatically close protecting its delicate internal parts when not in use. It will also automatically open and find the last satellite position when turned back on (this usually takes no more than 30-60 seconds).

It also has intelligent solar and GPS technology to enable it to locate the appropriate satellite automatically. This means you will no longer have to climb onto the motorhome roof to tune the television.
